The Rockery, Wyandotte, MI 5-11-2018

The Rockery is a legendary Downriver dive bar that has served as a reliable rock club for years.  Last night, Raising The Dead played the final show there.  The News-Herald was present to photograph the event. 

The evening started with Hoist: A Tribute to Phish at 9:15, and they played Harry Hood, Roggae, Rift, and other phan favorites.  At about 10:15, Raising The Dead took the stage with Jack Straw.  The energy was awesome, and the audience was dancing and yelling their appreciation.  We loved it.  The 90-minute first set highlight jams included Althea and Playin' In The Band.  

After a breather, we took the stage again with our debut of the classic triptych Help On The Way>Slipknot>Franklin's Tower.  We had planned to perform Mississippi Half Step, Eyes of the world, The Wheel>Space>Truckin'>The Other One>Terrapin, but we were interrupted during the Coda of Half Step by a lightning strike that took out power in our part of the city.  We packed up "In The Dark," but still had a fantastic gig that we can't wait to share.
