We are excited to finally release our full performance from the Red Wings Grateful Dead Night on January 13, 2024. Previously released as an album on all streaming services and as a 15-minute section of the show, we've made the entire show available to you. We hope it helps you relive the magic if you were there or experience it for the first time if you have not!
Thanks to all the fans who submitted their footage for inclusion. Do you see yours? Raising The Dead returns to the stage in Plymouth and Lansing the weekend of June 29-30.

photos: William Morgan It was a magical night of boss-level Dead for our packed-house return to the Blind Pig in Ann Arbor. Our favorite sound tech Adam got us dialed in just exactly perfect at sound check, and we were ready to go. But first, we were joined by the stage debut of Groove Monkey Trio - featuring our own drummer Chaim Tolwin and his kids: 6 year old Nate on the bass, and 10 year old Elijah on the keys! Matt joined them for their last song and the crowd was really blown away by their expertise and poise.
We got to our turn, and we turned it out. Alex, Bill, Chaim, Dave, and Matthew began with Playin in the band, segueing into a deeply funky Shakedown Street. We made a left turn into Brown Eyed Women, and gazinta'd into Bill's awesome take on Black Throated Wind. From there, we nailed the classic trifecta Help On The Way > Slipknot! > Franklin's Tower, segueing back to Playin. We were at the end of the first set but we weren't done yet, it was our friend Shacole's birthday! We serenaded with the traditional Happy Birthday, before dropping into The Beatle's "Birthday" to end the first set proper. Dave announced, "We will be back in exactly 15 minutes." 30 minutes or so later, we hit back with a saucy seguefest: Stranger > Mississippi > Estimated > Althea > Looks Like Rain > Drums > Space > Not Fade Away > Sugar Magnolia > Touch of Grey > Sunshine Daydream. There are so many second set highlights: Alex's incredible lead vocals on Althea, Bill & Dave harmonizing on Rain, Chaim & Matt dueting on the drum kit, the list just goes on and on. You have to hear it to believe it, and good news, we have great soundboard recordings and lots of video to produce and publish.
