The Detroit Music Festival showcased some hard metal on the main stage and some cool new bands downstairs on the Shelter stage. We got to see The Doozers and a couple of other good acts open for us. The sound was troublesome - the monitors didn't help our ability to hear each other at all, and our performance was energetic - especially our opening Shakedown - but frought with the kind of issues the band notices but the crowd likely doesn't. Tempos were fast for Scarlet and Rain, solos and verses were skipped here or there, but the show went on. The small crowd was appreciative, of course, and judging from the Facebook comments, we've gained some new fans. Excepting some audience videos, no recording of this show exists.
